River is half brother to Creek (sire) and to Bristol (dam). He has a lot of go, but is a sweet boy and is good in the house. River has a proper coat and plenty of leg. He has some time before he matures. River is currently in training for field work at Morningside Retrievers with the goal of earning hunt test titles. We are aiming for Senior or Master Hunter. He is proving to be a good marker with good trainability. Right after he returned from a Summer training trip north, I ran him for fun and experience in one Junior Hunter test, which he passed easily. I was so pleased at how easily he worked for me and what a pleasure he was and is to handle.
